As an Apple™ Mac owner, how many times have you heard the phrase "Can't fix this one. You'd be better off buying a new one." Sometimes this is true, but often your Mac just requires a new part and a bit of love and attention. It might only need a software or firmware update which can, more often than not, bring it back to life.

Our engineer is an experienced computer engineer who has worked for Apple Authorised Service Providers and Resellers. We specialise in Apple™ Powerbooks and iBooks and can obtain most parts, even those for "End of Life" Macs within 1 week (subject to availability, supplier and delivery times).

Don't hesitate to contact us even if your Mac is very old. We can obtain parts for many "End of Line" Macs and have diagnostic utilities for operating systems as early as 7.0 right through to the most recent versions of OSX.

Services

Hardware Installation and Repair

We repair a wide range of Apple™ computers and can install new RAM, hard disks, etc on request. This service is only available for out of warranty equipment.

Software Installation and Upgrades

We can install or, if necessary, re-install or upgrade software and firmware for you.

Data Recovery

Data recovery can be provided in conjunction with a hardware repair or as a separate service. If your data cannot be returned to the storage device, you will receive copies of your data on CD (other mediums available on request).

Please be aware that data recovery can be very time consuming and it is not always possible to recover all data intact.

Computer Health Checks

Is your computer performing to its maximum capability? Our health check service includes hardware and software diagnositics specifically tailored to your machine, a written report and estimates for any additional work required to get your computer working efficiently.

The cost for this service is £35 and this includes call out fee for customers within a 10 mile radius of Paisley. Customers outside this area will be subject to our standard call out fee.

Insurance Quotes

This service is available to customers who require a statement of the damage, cost of repair and replacement value of equipment which has been damaged. This service is only available for equipment whose replacement value is £100 or more.

The cost for this service is 5% of the replacement value of the item.

Pricing

Unless otherwise stated, the cost for these services is dependent on the amount of work and the cost of any replacement parts.

Please note that our standard call out fee is £35 for customers within a 20 mile radius of Glasgow. Outwith this area, the cost of a call out will depend on the distance. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you are further away, as we will be glad to make arrangements to visit you.
